There are many individuals in this world trying to make a difference. It can be Food, clothes, shelter, or any other help they can provide. Being valuable to someone is the best thing you can offer, and many organizations do this part of delivering services or commodities to people in need.
Some multiple NGOs and organizations offer their services to the economically backward class. These NGOs, for good deeds, are a true example of how we can help people the way we can.
Politically you must’ve seen different organizations doing it for the clout or to show how much they take care of people. Still, there are only a few organizations and NGOs that care about people and do something for them. A developing country like India needs individuals to participate in a good cause and contribute to growing the government.
Where it’s all surrounded by politics in a country like India, some Non-governmental organizations contribute to bringing change and doing welfare. Today we’ll look at a well-known Non-governmental organization called Suraj, which does social welfare and charities to help needy people. Suraj means Sun, and they are a ray of hope for everyone who needs them.
“Every Morning Sun inspires us to rise again,” and that’s the philosophy the NGO follows. Being a well-known NGO in India, Suraj has drastically changed people’s lives, helping thousands of people with everything they could. There are thousands of volunteers and professional individuals part of this NGO assisting people for a better life.
The Story that helped to bring change
Ajay and Surbhi are the Founders of this NGO, registered in 2008; they had a dream to start this NGO to change people’s lives and help people in need. The name came from a combination of the founders Surbhi and Ajay Sur -Aj. Unfortunately, both the founders are not with us, but their work speaks a lot, and they have positively impacted many people’s lives.
SURAJ was launched in 2008; the day they started, their primary focus was on health and hygiene, skill development, and the welfare of less privileged backgrounds.
SURAJ is a welfare and charitable organization which is here to uplift needy people and bring positive change in their life. The NGO is here to support people irrespective of their gender, caste, creed, or religion everyone gets treated equally, and they all battle for the same mission, which is bringing people up.
Suraj, the organization, has been consistently working to promote everyone, and most importantly, they are bringing
women-centered development programs to bring positive change in their lives.
The NGO has a holistic approach to the organization as they work with faith toward every element of an individual’s life. Whether in health and hygiene education, reducing inequality, saving the environment, or encouraging economic growth, they help people with everything.
The NGO is here to help as many people as they can from our country and get together to bring sustainable change to our country. The NGO is on a mission for development goals outlined by the United Nations for peace and prosperity for people working towards enhancing their life.
With this organization, they have blessed thousands of lives, allowing them to do better and bring a revolution to the country. Every NGO needs strong departments and volunteers to sustain the change and help as many people as possible.
On A Mission To Bring Change
Every organization has its objectives, and it’s important to fulfill them when you start working. Suraj has begun to construct an autonomous society that furnishes the needs of all sections of society, particularly the economically underprivileged areas.
They created opportunities for every individual, giving them the right to
education, health, and nutrition and to access a livelihood with dignity.
People who aren’t financially are unable to get access to the resources that are out there, but Suraj stands as a bridge between them and resources, helping people to excel in life. Everyone has a right to speak, eat and get access to the resources available in this world, and Suraj NGO helps them to achieve these objectives easily.
The NGOs work on different things in their day-to-day lives. There are multiple objectives they try to fulfill and help people consistently. To be precise about the work Suraj NGO operates, they work on uplifting deprived, excluded, and marginalized community members.
The vision was to cross all the barriers and boundaries to give people their rightful place in the social structure and help them with all the resources they need to survive. Having the right and motive to support people cannot stop an individual from doing better. As a part of this society, it’s the responsibility of every individual to get together and contribute to uplift the deprived, excluded, and marginalized community members of our organization.
Members And Their Work Towards The Future
As I said earlier, some different departments and objectives need to be fulfilled, and there are members of the team who take care of other elements in an NGO. If we talk about Suraj NGO, then Surbhi and Ajay were the initial founders of this organization. Still, now it’s handled by their sister Yashika Shaikh who’s a secretary in the organization, and Dr. Shivani Tyagi who’s a Professor and Vice President in the NGO. Anuj Chaudhary is Director who heads the UP branch in the foundation.
Thousands of people are part of this, and there are more than 80,000 people who have benefited from this organization. The Suraj NGO has been offering help and resources to the people. Based out of Uttarakhand, the NGO has helped many people in their journey to achieve great things in life. From books to food and all the resources, the NGO impacts and supports the lives of unprivileged people.
